Details

The course will cover the history of diving, the aquatic environment, physics and physiology, the scuba equipment and how to plan your dives.

Theory classes are held on weekday evenings (Mon - Thur), and pool classes are held on Tues, Wed or Thur; evenings 19:00 till 22:00.

The student is required to complete the SDI Online Theory training before attending the first theory class.  Failure to do so may delay the start of the course. 

Prerequisites

• Minimum age: 10 yrs old (10 to 17yr old requires parental consent)
• NOTE : Students between 10 and 14yr old will be certified as Junior Open Water Diver
• Must be reasonably fit
• Provide 1 passport sized photograph
• Sign the liability release form
• Complete medical review form
• Pay $200 deposit before starting course
